It seems like the Neverending Story. 
We rescue some, only to have more needing help.
And then we do it again.
Kitten season continues.

Our latest intake is just a baby herself, not even a year old, but left unspayed, she found herself with an unplanned pregnancy. A cat so young and so small is at high risk, as are her kittens. She arrived in care and within days started to give birth. The first kitten was very large for the size of the young mom. She needed assistance to deliver and the kitten was still born. Under the watchful eye of her foster mom she delivered two more babies. These kittens are tiny… but they were both born alive and are doing their best, hopefully they will be able to thrive in the days ahead.
