“Once a SCARS animal, always a SCARS animal.” This is one of our founding beliefs, and something we share with all adopters and volunteers. We met Anna in early 2021 when she was brought into care for a short time as part of our Spay-Neuter-Return program. This program is where we work with partner communities! On request, we transport owned pets to one of our veterinary partners to be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and micro chipped. The pets spend time recovering at the clinic and then we return them to their homes. When Anna’s family could no longer care for her, she joined us as part of our foster program and is now looking forward to meeting her forever family!
