It is with great sadness that we share with you that we lost little Bugs to the parvo virus. Bugs has been fighting the parvo virus for 5 days at Guardian Veterinary Centre. The team there tried everything medically possible, including 3 albumin transfusions. Our hearts are broken.
His sibling Tweety was also fighting the virus at Guardian and thankfully is back with her foster family. His other sibling Daffy is still at Westlock Veterinary Clinic also fighting the virus and has been for almost a week.
We have had 8 puppies with parvo in the last couple weeks. Please don’t be the reason a puppy has to go through this. Vaccinate your puppy.
November 29, 2022 Update…
Two of these pups are Tweety & Bugs. Both very sick puppies with Parvo at Guardian Vet. They’re currently fighting for their lives at Guardian in hopes of them beating this awful disease.

These are the lucky ones! Parvo is nothing new and so easy to prevent. A simple vaccine will save a pup suffering and in some cases death. We currently have 3 pups being treated for this virus and sadly lost a 4th. Thankfully these beautiful pups will get medical care, while many others out there will never get the life saving care. Please encourage everyone to vaccinate and spay/neuter their pets!
