Hi there, my name is Slade. I came into SCARS with a pretty bad infection in my front legs, but they are all healed up and I am ready to find my forever home. My foster home say I am a love bug. I am a big goofy boy who likes to talk. My foster home think I have some Husky in me, as I have some very known traits of a Husky. I am house trained and am very good in my crate aka "my house. I sleep in there at night, and will go in on my own terms to chill out. I like to play with toys and I have learned how to sit and shake-a-paw. I am still getting used to cars and will bark at them, but my foster Mom is working hard to break that habit. I am also getting used to my harness and walking on a leash, but I'm getting better everyday. I love the outdoors and would do well on an acreage or with an active home to get my energy burned off. I'm good with other dogs with a slow introduction. My foster home has a female dog and we play together nicely. I am great with cats, I don't really pay much attention to them and will give them a big lick every once in awhile. Do I sound like the companion for you?
