Hello, my name is Baloo. Happily, my "baby and I find ourselves in the care of SCARS and we are ready for a second chance! Can you guess which of us is the mom! Even though I look more like the kitten, I have already raised a family. I am still a little skittish and don't enjoy being held so far. Nevertheless, my foster mom continues to persevere with teaching me how to cuddle and enjoy lap time. I would appreciate and do best in a home with no small children. I have only just come into the foster home so time will be the only true way to know my real personality once I have relaxed. I have a resident cat and dog in my foster home, and I am still a little scared of them. I will hiss at them but then run away. I would love to be adopted with my baby (Karen) as I have been there for her for her entire 8-month life but would be ok on my own too. I use the litterbox very well; I am independent and if you give me patience I will someday settle in to take care of you and your home.

July 15 -- 19th Annual Tails on the Trails Pledge Walk!

The 19th annual Tails on the Trails Family Fun Day & Pledge Walk is scheduled for Saturday, July 15th (rain or shine) with lots of great activities for you and your pet. Join us for the day and participate in the pledge walk, check out our great vendors, bid on some silent auction items, do some puppy yoga, and then grab a burger and head to the beer gardens.
