Forget the rest, stick with the Bess! Hi, my name is Bessie and I am a very quiet 2 year old girl with a lot of love and kisses to give. Although I am still so young, I was already a mother to a litter of pups and now I am ready to find a home of my very own. I am a cautious and shy girl so I have yet to show off my true playful side in my foster home, but I sure do like to nap, snuggle, and be near my foster brother. On sunny days, my favorite place to be is sun bathing in the yard or on the deck. The great thing about being 2 years old is that I am already house trained, I am doing well with my crate training, and I am quite responsive to verbal training cues (especially when there are yummy treats up for grabs!!!). Being on a leash is a bit of a new experience for me - it's just so weird! But with a little more practice I am sure I will get used to it. I get along very well with other dogs and would love to be in a home that has another confident dog (preferably male) for me to be best friends with and continue to learn from.
