**Please note the cats featured in the photos are currently employed** Some cats that come into SCARS care are just not looking for your typical family home. They're Working Cats and they have stuff to do! Our Working Cats are the happiest when they are in a barn or shop type environment, whether it's because they don't like the confines of a home, would rather not be cuddled by humans, or just prefer to be independent in the great outdoors. Each Working Cat has a unique personality, but what they all have in common is they have been either spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Some may be social butterflies around the water cooler and some would rather just get to work. A Working Cats adoption is by donation, and you provide a safe place with food, water, and warm shelter for your newest employee of the month. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more info or click the adopt me button. Please note we do ask you provide a secure space while they complete the first couple weeks in their new positions.
|Available for adoption|

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
What does 'Manageable' mean? This animal can be integrated into a home however will need SPECIFIC supports in place for this to be successful.
