Hi, my name is Mango! I am approximately 6 months old, Manx calico cat. I have been at my foster home for about a week so far and foster mom says that I am the SWEETEST cat she has ever had. I love my people and try to soak in as many pets and snuggles that I can. Right now, sudden movements and noises tend to spook me and I tend to growl at the window when I see people walk by. Coming to SCARS as a stray, foster mom believe this was my defence mechanism. Foster mom loves this small, fiery personality that pops up, and then later melts away the second someone pets me. In my foster home lives the resident dog and cat. I am curious to know the cat, but he's not too keen to meet me. With that said, I have not shown any signs of aggression to the resident cat and should do just fine in a home with another cat. The dog on the other hand...I'm not a huge fan off. He minds my space, but his presence nonetheless, I do not care for. I might require some slow introduction if my furever home has a dog. One thing you need to know about me is that I have a glorious & long haired coat. My furever home will have to invest in a great brush to help me tame my mane. Thankfully I am a fan of being groomed. Because I wasn't taken care of before, my fur did develop some mats and now I've got a bit of a silly haircut on the parts of me where the mats were bad. I am so happy that is now going to be a thing of the past! If you think that I am the girl for you, click the "adopt me button. I can't wait to meet you!
