Please read my profile carefully before applying: ****** I will also need a home with a confident and easy-going male dog (no females please) that can be my buddy when I'm scared. **** My name is Piper and I came into care as a feral puppy with my sister, Brooks. My foster family has spent a lot of time working with me and I have really come a long way! I am slowly learning to trust my humans. I love the resident dog here, and I even like the cats. I am working on house training and walking on a leash, but I will need a family who can spend more time helping me learn these skills. Because I spent the first bit of my life with no human contact, I have a few quirks that you need to be aware of. I am scared of new things - new humans, new animals, new surroundings, strange noises. Due to this I will not do will in an apartment or attached dwelling. I will need a family who is very patient with me and can spend a lot of extra time with me. I will also need a home with a confident and easy-going male dog (no females please) that can be my buddy when I'm scared. While I love the teenagers at my foster home, I wouldn't do well in a home with small children. I will also need a home with a secure fence. My breed is a bit of a mystery! For us mixed breed puppies it is always a guessing game but I will likely be a medium sized dog. My foster mom says I am a very pretty little thing and she loves how fast I wag my tail when I'm happy!

What does 'Manageable' mean? This animal can be integrated into a home however will need SPECIFIC supports in place for this to be successful.
