I'm so happy to be here! Before coming here I lived on a short chain, chained to a doghouse. All I did was pace back and forth and was terribly malnourished. I'm a Shep cross about 2-3 years old. Despite being chained up I actually walk well on a leash. I sleep in a kennel at night and do well. So far I seem to be ok with most dogs. Do not know about cats. I have lots of energy so my ideal home is active. I am a very nice dog - but a fenced acreage is a must, rural home only, no condos or apartments and I MUST have a home with a larger breed female dog.

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
What does 'Manageable' mean? This animal can be integrated into a home however will need SPECIFIC supports in place for this to be successful.
