July 8 Lou Lou Update! 
Lou Lou was attacked by other dogs and it made a mess of parts of her body. She is still at the Westlock vet Centre receiving much needed medical care and attention.
She is handling all the care like a trooper but the worst part is the one wound is in a spot that makes it hard to close up. The wounds are deep so they will need a little extra time 
and care.

June 28 update… We are thankful to say that LOU LOU’s is feeling better. 
She is currently receiving loving care from the amazing team at Westlock Veterinary Center. She is receiving pain management and is doing much better.

We got another emergency call about a dog in need of medical aid. SCARS supporters… meet LOU LOU.Volunteer drivers rushed out to find this lovely dog who had been attacked by other dogs.
We rushed her the Westlock Veterinary Center.
This is our sixth dog this week that has had an emergency trip to veterinary care.
