December 2, 2022 Update… *Warning: Graphic Images*
We did the penile amputation and scrotal urethrostomy. A scrotal urethrostomy creates an opening directly in front of the scrotum. You’ll see by the circle, is the spot where he will be able to pee from. He needs lots of TLC over the next few days. We will keep you all posted on how he does! Huge thank you to Guardian Vet who was able to complete this surgery for us.
November 29, 2022 Update…
We had a consultation for fixing Fog’s penis sheath at the end of December and with all the good vibes today, we got the call for him to come in for the consultation for surgery tomorrow!
🎉We are so thrilled that he can get the reconstructive surgery done ASAP!🎉

If they could tell us their story. What they have been through. Who did this?
We see neglect daily but yet every time it’s like seeing it for the first time.
Meet Fog. This poor guy, besides being skin and bones, has had a bad laceration that cut his sheath and the penis is no longer encased. He also has a fever. What is most concerning is it appears he has a mass. We will be doing an X-ray and ultrasound tomorrow to see what it is.
For now he is being treated by a vet and is comfortable.
We will update as soon as we can.
