Thank you for your support, the event is now SOLD OUT!

SCARS is delighted to present the 2018 edition of the Canines (Critters) & Cocktails themed banquet, with silent and live auction. This year’s theme is “The Year of the Dog” celebrating 2018 in accordance with the Chinese tradition under the lunar calendar. We’re in mid-year, but it’s never the wrong time for a traditional Lion Dance, and a themed party.

Join us Friday, November 2nd at the Palace Banquet Centre, 3223 Parson’s Road in Edmonton. Doors open for cocktails at 5:00 p.m., with entertainment and a sumptuous buffet dinner beginning at 7:00. The amazing silent auction will be open throughout the evening, with a live auction after dinner.

Our master of ceremonies will again be the enthusiastic and entertaining Rob Christie, and our live auctioneer will be Gary Hanna. Entertainment will include a traditional lion dance, and the always-endearing “Doggy Parade”. Stay tuned, as well, for a potential kitten visit!

Dress is business casual. Seating will be in tables of 10.  If you wish, feel free to dress or accent your outfit in traditional Asian good fortune colours (red and gold).

This is SCARS’ biggest fundraising event of the year. We invite all of our friends and supporters to join our volunteers in helping us to save more than 1,200 animals in 2018.

Thank you to our event…
