SCARS is doing its part to limit the spread of COVID-19 to protect the public and our volunteers. The good news is that we are still able to complete adoptions.

We are doing our part to limit the spread of COVID-19 to protect the public and our volunteers. However, so far practicing social distancing measures, we have seen many successful adoptions! Here is what you should know:
When you apply to adopt, we will work with you to protect your health and that of our volunteers. For example, if you are hoping to adopt a cat, we can arrange for a virtual meet-and-greet! For dogs, we make sure to arrange a meet-and-greet that adheres to the current Alberta government COVID-19 guidelines. If you have any questions or concerns about our adoption processes during COVID-19, please don’t hesitate to contact us at email@example.com.
